BeatriceHanssen is Associate Professor of German at Harvard University and author of Critique of Violence: BetweenPoststructuralism and Critical Theory. Rebecca L.Walkowitz is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Associate Editor of the CultureWork series.
