Brought home from the rescue centre, Dave is small and sparky and gets all excited. To Kate, he's everything a pup should be. The trouble is, he sometimes gets too excited. Bob Graham has written and illustrated many acclaimed children's picture books, including Max (978-0-7445-9827-8), which won the 2000 Smarties Gold Medal, and Jethro Byrde, Fairy Child (978-1-84428-482-5), which won the 2003 Kate Greenaway Medal. He has won the Australian Children's Book of the Year Award an unprecedented three times.
