Description

Families and descendants have shared their stories and pictures of early Anna. There is a chapter of the businesses of Anna in the 1940's. Other chapters are of the surrounding communities, farms, cemeteries, and historic homes. Another chapter is of the Trains of Anna. The H&TC railroad went through Anna in 1872. By 1883 the town of Anna was incorporated. Businesses flourished, and cotton and grain crops became the primary source of income.
