He is the co-editor (with William Pink) of Schooling in Social Context and co-author (with R. Dwight Hare) of Meta-Ethnography: Synthesizing Qualitative Studies. Van O. Dempsey is Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations at West Virginia University.
