She specialises in the management and implementation of preventive care. - ANTHEA SYMONDS is Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Wales, Swansea, and with the Open University. She specialises in aspects of health policy with a special interest in the gendered nature of the care professions and their socio-historical development.
