Author Biography:

Simon Pulleyn studied Latin and Ancient Greek at Oxford University, with a specialty in Indo-European Comparative Philology and General Linguistics. His PhD was on prayer in ancient Greek religion. He taught Classics at Oxford for almost a decade before taking up law, which he would come to teach.
