Author Biography:

Neil Patrick Harris is an Emmy award-winning American actor, producer, director, magician, comedian and singer.  ‘Two of my favorite things are magic and reading,’ says Neil, ‘which collided with two new favourite things: my twin six-year-old children.’ DID YOU KNOW? Neil Patrick Harris is a registered magician, and served as President of the Academy of Magical Arts from 2011–2014.  Neil is currently starring in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events as Count Olaf, the greedy guardian of three orphans – Violet, Klaus & Sunny Baudelaire – who are investigating their parents' mysterious death.  Neil is best known for playing Barney Stinson in the television comedy series How I Met Your Mother and starring as Dr Horrible in Joss Whedon’s hilarious musical Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. As a child he starred in the popular television series Doogie Howser, MD.
