Merlin, trapped in purgatory threatened with Hell by Satan, wishes to redeem his sins and rejoin his beloved Nimue in Heaven. He contacts, through dreams, his only remaining descendants living in the present day, to do battle for him against the wiles of Satan and his black witches. They agree. Accompanied by a wonderful dog with extra sensory powers of detection they search for the six holy relics, decreed by St Michael, needed to redeem him. The sixth and final holy relic being the Holy Grail itself. Their adventures are breathtaking, culminating in a duel of truth between Merlin and Satan beneath Glastonbury Tor.
