Author Biography

Co-winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in physics, David J. Thouless, Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Washington, is a Fellow of the Royal Society (United Kingdom) and the American Physical Society and a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
