Author Biography:

Pamela Shields, who has a degree in art history, is a magazine journalist. She lives and works in Hertfordshire and has tutored courses for the WEA, U3A, art history, theatre administration and guiding for tourists. She has earned a crust as an art teacher in comprehensive schools, a tour guide in London and Paris and as press officer for the Prince's Trust. She once launched Senile Delinquents, her own online magazine and has written for many publications. Author of Essential Islington: From Boadicea to Blair and Hertfordshire A~Z.
