It's Christmas, and two tree decorations - cardboard prince Rudolph and clothes peg fairy Rosalind - are discarded for being too shabby. Jim Fitzsimmons, who qualified as a teacher in 1971, has had experience of teaching both junior and infant pupils. He began writing educational books in 1987 and in 1993 left teaching to take up writing full time.
