Description

1893. This work has two volumes in one. It is a collection of the works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge, English lyrical poet, critic, and philosopher, whose Lyrical Ballads, written with William Wordsworth, started the English Romantic movement. Although Coleridge's poetic achievement was small in quantity, his metaphysical anxiety, anticipating modern existentialism, has gained him reputation as an authentic visionary. Some of the more well known of his works included in these volumes are: "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner", "Christabel", and "Kubla Khan" and many others.
