Maurizio Pompella is Professor of Financial Intermediaries Economics at the School of Economics and Management at the University of Siena, Italy. Nicos Scordis is a Professor at the School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science at St. John’s University in New York, USA. He was honoured with the prestigious Les B. Strickler Innovation in Instruction Award from the American Risk and Insurance Association for his educational contributions to the developing speciality of alternative risk transfer. He publishes both in scholarly journals and in professional publications on the top ic of value creation in the risk and insurance industry.
