"Husband watched all episodes over 3 days"

Bought this for Fathers Day for my husband and he absolutely loved it, in fact all spare time was spent in front of the tv or computer, staying up until all hours until it was finished… If it was a book I would say it was one you couldn't put down

"Well worth watching."

Mighty Ape delivers again. The Pacific is just Fantastic. Of course it is being told by from the American side which is fine with me. It would be great to see it told from the Japanese side. There are some atrocities shown but a must for shows of this nature. If you liked band of brothers you will enjoy “The Pacific” A+ 5 Stars

Description

From the producers of Band of Brothers, The Pacific tracks the real-life journeys of three U.S. Marines – Robert Leckie (James Badge Dale), Eugene Sledge (Joe Mazzello) and John Basilone (Jon Seda) – across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theater during World War II. The miniseries follows these men and their fellow Marines from their first battle with the Japanese on Guadalcanal, through the rain forests of Cape Gloucester and the strongholds of Peleliu, across the bloody sands of Iwo Jima and through the horror of Okinawa, and finally to their triumphant but uneasy return home after V-J Day.
