One of our best-selling titles (years ago!) was New Zealand Native Plants for Your Garden by Julian Matthews. This new title by gardening writer and photographer, Dennis Greville, will reintroduce native plants to the New Zealand gardener. Native plants have had a resurgence of popularity in recent years because they are loved by designers and planners for their low maintenance and sculptural qualities as well as the fact that the cottage garden look is no longer fashionable. The book will feature great close-up images of plants as well as gardens featuring native plants in different styles. Each garden will be very different to give a sense of the variety of styles than can be achieved. Conditions and gardening advice will also be provided. This will be a celebration of New Zealand fauna.

Dennis Greville is an authoritative gardening writer. He is regular contributor to New Zealand Gardener magazine and previous books include the Gardeners' Yearbook, the Colourful New Zealand Garden, Colour for Your Garden, Growing Vegetables Year-Round and In the Garden, a Seasonal Journal. His photographic work features in numerous magazines and books.
