Author Biography

Mimi Spencer is best known for co-authoring the best-selling book The Fast Diet with Dr Michael Mosley, which sold more than a million copies worldwide. Mimi's background is in lifestyle journalism - early in her career, she wrote for Vogue and the Evening Standard before becoming editor of ES Magazine. She has been a columnist for You Magazine (Mail on Sunday), Observer Food Monthly and Waitrose Kitchen, and contributes to The Times and many national magazines. Mimi lives in Brighton with her husband, two teenage children and an endlessly hungry dog. She wrote about the process in her book The Happy Eater, 4 Weeks to a Better Relationship with Food. Sam lives in Bali with her husband and two children. Dr Sarah Schenker, the book's nutritional consultant, is one of the UK's leading dietitians.
