Description

Donald Trump, The Kardashians, Scientology, and North Korea are just some of the targets in this humorous collection of aphorisms. 'The Little Book of Sham' is the result of hours spent staring into space, wondering - not just, 'Why are we here?' - but also - "How?" and 'Have I left the oven on?' It's packed full of wisdom such as "Nothing lasts forever, except sofa sales" "Parents - like History - are doomed to repeat themselves" "Maximize your use of the toilet at work. It is the only time your employer pays you to think." "Life is short and often brutal like a job interview. So be yourself. On no account be Piers Morgan."

Author Biography:

Keith Martin is a librarian in his hometown of Westport, Ireland and he served as a Councillor on Westport Town Council from 2004 until 2014, when the council was abolished. He accepts no responsibility whatsoever for its abolition. He lives alone, by choice, but would like to point out that it was someone else's choice, not his. The Little Book of Sham is his first book. It is also, probably, his last. Keith is on Facebook and Twitter and you can learn more about him on www.about.me/thekeithmartin
