Description

Annabelle is escaping her disastrous love life by staying with her stepsister Mia. She's not seen Mia for some years and is disturbed to find her in a remote homestead, farming worms, acting strangely and pregnant to a man who has disappeared. What's equally disturbing is that Annabelle's disastrous love life is about to follow her. As Christmas approaches and the house fills up with her assorted siblings, things become more bizarre, not least the way Mia disappears for many hours into the linoleum room, a place that Mia forbids anyone else to enter. Beautifully written, sinister yet blackly humorous, this is a compelling novel from an exciting new writer.
