Returning to their TV roles after an absence of several years, Rodney Bewes (Bob), who is happily married to Thelma (Brigit Forsyth) in the series, and James Bolam (Terry) play a pair of funny Northern Englishmen. When Terry meets gorgeous Finnish model Christina, Thelma – ever aware of Terry's bad influence on her husband – arranges for the four to go away on a caravanning weekend together in the hope of seeing Terry settled down for good…
