This game's miniatures are more than worth the price of entry on their own. The fact that the game is unique and interesting in its own right creates an even better value product. Even if you're not a fan of the show, the game rules are easy to understand, and if you like Legend of Korra, there's a lot of thematic elements both in the art and rules. Gameplay feels RIGHT – both as a game concept and as part of the brand it's connected with. It's not often a game based on a show like this can be as solidly appealing in terms of both gameplay and theme.

I really love the Avatar Last Airbender anime series and sort of like Korra. My favourite part of the Korra series has to be the Pro-Bending sport. This board game perfectly captures the excitement of being in the arena with detailed and pleasant miniatures. I think the only issue with this game is that the developer seems to have stopped supporting the game. They had plans for creating tournament kits and also releasing KS teams as retail but so far but now over 1 year after the KS has been shipped, there hasn't been any news.

Its a shame because I think this game really lends itself to tournament play (its a sports game after all). I would think something like GuildBall or Bloodbowls seasons would do well with this game.

If you want to try the KS only teams, head over to board game geek and you can print and play the cards. There is currently no way to get the KS only team's miniatures though.

Also, this game really does shine in the standard 3v3 type games. I don't think the 3v1 or 1v1 is all that balanced.
