Being a huge fan of this film for as long as I can remember, I was waiting a long time to seeing it in HD. All the classic cars and scenery sparkles in full HD and the witty dialogue, especially spoken by Michael Caine sounds great with the transfer.
The climactic Mini chase is one of the most fondly remembered part of The Italian Job, and always looks amazing, mixed with Noel Coward's Mr Bridger, make this a classic must-see British movie for all generations.
The blu-ray has heaps of extras and good picure quality
The Italian Job
Charlies' got a ‘Job’ to do. Having just left prison he finds one of friends has attempted a high risk job in Italy, right under the nose of the Mafia. Charlies friend doesn't get very far, so Charlie takes over the ‘Job’. Using three Mini Coopers, a couple of jaguars and a bus, he hopes to bring Torino to a standstill, steal the Gold and escape.
