Description

The Island:
Lincoln Six-Echo (Ewan McGregor) is a resident of a seemingly utopian but contained facility in the mid-21st century. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to “The Island” - reportedly the last uncontaminated spot on the planet - until he makes a terrible discovery that everything about his existence is a lie and that he is actually more valuable dead than alive. He and all the other inhabitants of the facility are actually human clones whose only purpose is to provide “spare parts” for their original human counterparts. Together with a beautiful resident named Jordan Two-Delta (Scarlett Johansson), Lincoln makes a daring escape to the outside world he has never known. Now, with the forces of the institute that once housed them relentlessly hunting them down, led by head of security, Laurent (Djimon Hounsou), Lincoln and Jordan engage in a desperate race for their lives.

Logan's Run:
It is the 23rd Century. Out of the ashes of a dead civilization, a virtual utopia has been created. Every wish, every desire is easily fulfilled. There's just one catch - no one lives past the age of 30. One man will dare to challenge this, to go outside this world and discover what lies beyond.

Forbidden Planet:
Shakespeare's "The Tempest" is transformed in this landmark science-fiction film with groundbreaking special effects. Space men travel to a planet ruled by expatriate Pidgeon who has built a kingdom with his daughter and obedient robot Robby. There the good doctor is plagued by his mad quest for knowledge through his "brain booster" machine, and by Freudian "monsters from the id" as his daughter discovers other men and learns to kiss.
