Fiona Apple makes her welcome return with the highly anticipated new Epic Records release The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw And Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do, her fourth album and follow-up to 2005's Extraordinary Machine which was released after ongoing sessions with producer Jon Brion were leaked.
The 10-song set features all new self-penned material, some of which (“Anything We Want,” “Valentine” and “Every Single Night”) she has been debuting during her recent tour dates including 2012's SXSW music festival, her first performances outside of L.A. in five years. The album will be preceded by the first single “Every Single Night.”
