Young filmmaker and award-winning photographer Sam Jones has, through his film and journalistic work, befriended and photographed the industry's great names and faces. From Hollywood to New York, his subjects are universally admired, and Sam's photographs are revealing, intimate, and give us a new perspective on these stars. "The Here and Now" will feature over 100 photographs and include stars such as George Clooney, Robert DeNiro, Will Ferrell, Chris Rock, Martin Scorcese, Jack Nicholson, Annette Bening, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, and dozens more. Sam Jones is widely considered to be the successor to Annie Leibovitz.

Author Biography

Sam Jones is the director and producer of I AM TRYING TO BREAK YOUR HEART, a black-and-white film about the rock band Wilco and the making of their album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, and he has just signed on as director for two big feature films. His manager will break that news along with this book deal in Variety.
