Reviews
“The Good Doctor succeeds through strong support from Michael Pena (the
orderly), Taraji P. Henson (the head nurse), Rob Morrow (the boss), and newcomer
Riley Keough (the patient). The Good Doctor might not be the flashiest or most
gruesome “psycho doctor” thriller you’ll ever see, but it’s a chilly
little indie that’ll creep you out a bit … or make you really angry.” –
FEARnet
“A creepy, darkly funny bit of entertainment.” – Film.com
“The film is anchored and greatly bolstered by Bloom, who delivers a performance of quietly escalating madness.” – Village Voice
“Daly deftly creates a disturbing, Chabrol-like tension that plays on immediate identification with the handsome medico's lonely, shy vulnerability and slow-building horror at the depths to which his self-delusion can sink.” – Variety
