"You may as well burn your money"

Even at the cheap price this game is a complete waste of money. I honestly feel sorry for anyone preordered this game or paid full price.

I don't think the other 5 people who have rated this game have actually played it. It really is horrible, the producers of the game have somehow seemed to make it worse than the original. Motorbikes (a new addition to the game) were cool when I first saw them but after Vice City they are of course nothing new.

Driving is very retarded, and while it did take me a while to get used to it in the first one, it seems to be nearly impossible to go fast while retaining control and being able to avoid the numerous smashes you will have.

Then we have the camera. Well remember the days of the original Jak & Daxter and Croc with their horrbile cameras, well this game makes them look good. The camera while driving is completly fixed and is set looking down at such an angle it is near impossible to drive, especially at speed.

My advice dont buy this game. If you've just played San Andreas then you should definitly not consider buying this game. Please either burn you money, or buy a decent game. :D

Description

Uncut and unedited! 'The Getaway Black Monday' is set two years after the events on the Sol Vita. London has moved on. It's Sergeant Mitchell's first day back on the Met's (Metropolitan Police) firearms squad, and it's going to be one to remember; a dawn raid on a council estate turns nasty. But that's just the beginning...the next 48 hours will see him come up against the most powerful man in London. Meanwhile on the other side of the City Boxer Eddie O'Connor is getting a severe beating; the bank job went horribly wrong, his crew are decimated. Bodies are continuing to drop left, right and centre. His only ally in this whole mess is Sam, a lightweight thief more comfortable with nicking laptops than extreme violence. He knows he's way out of his depth - now his friends are dead and somebody is going to have to pay. 'The Getaway Black Monday' takes these three very different perspectives of a dark 48 hour period and weaves them together unpredictably to create a sophisticated compelling narrative. Central London streets are again mapped in great detail, while real world interior locations are key in keeping the twisting narrative flowing. The real world locations in 'The Getaway Black Monday' include an East End boxing gym, an old snooker club, thrilling chases across rooftops and pivotal game sections featuring the famous London Underground, amongst many others.
