You could buy the Fishermen of Catan expansion (lots of fun) separately, at greater expense, or you could get it through this. Do it this way!
Be warned, it differs slightly from the Fishermen of Catan rules in the Traders and Barbarians box (and if you've got that, do not get this).
Adds to the game and give a different way to play
Having just the base Catan set, I had been looking around for something to add to the game to level the playing field a little and speed up the initial resource gathering. We tried all sorts of variants to the rules but once I added this mini expansion to the game, all players were asking for it to be kept for every game in the future. It has now been a permanent fixture in our Catan game, and a must for all Catan fans.
