Despite this she fulfilled her dreams of becoming an actress and four four years played Chloe on Hollyoaks, in a ground-breaking role as the first character on the show who didn't conform to the glossy format. Mikyla went on to break her dependency on food and shed an incredible 9 stone to reach her healthy weight of 15 stone (and 6 foot!) today. She will never be skinny, but she is happy and healthy. This is a memoir about being different and suffering for it, and about having the courage to change your life.
Author Biography
Mikyla Dodd played Chloe Bruce in the Channel Four soap opera Hollyoaks for four years, from 2000 to 2004. In 2006 she participated in Celebrity Fit Club. She lives in East London.
