In 1866 famous artist Paul Gustave Dore produced illustrations for a new English version of the Bible. Dore produced a total of 238 illustrations for the new Bible, depicting scenes of Johan and the whale, the creation of light, the judgment of Solomon, Jacob wrestling with the Angel, and the defenestration of Jezebel at Jezreel. Also included in his illustrations is a depiction of Satan, the Heavenly Hosts, and Paradise Lost. The illustration Dore produced was used in multiple Bibles of varying languages throughout the years.This edition is a collection of 100 illustrations by Gustave Dore with accompanying verses from the Bible.This edition is also carefully formatted for comfortable reading.The Holy Bible was, is and will continue to be the most studied book in the world.The Bible offers many teachings that can be used in anyone's life, anywhere in the world.
