Kate is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Brighton. She studied surface pattern at art college then went on to develop her career in fashion textiles, graphics, greeting card designs, and editorial illustrations creating work for a wide range of clients. With over ten years experience in the industry, Kate can turn her hand to a variety of briefs, with techniques ranging from traditional drawing and painting, to digital media. Her sources of inspiration include cigar box packaging, vintage tins, gig posters, type and fonts, maps, and graffiti. Her clients include Marks and Spencer, George, Tesco, CSMA magazine, Summersdale Publishing, Macmillan Education, Autumn Publishing, Top That! Publishing, Cambridge University Press, Pearson Education, MEC Global, Oxford University Press, Cengage, Buster Books, and Usborne Publishing.
