Alison Schofield, Ph.D. (2006), University of Notre Dame, is Associate Professor of Religious and Judaic Studies at the University of Denver. Along with other articles and co-edited volumes, she is the author of From Qumran to the Yahad: A New Paradigm of Textual Development for The Community Rule and serves as co-editor of The Dead Sea Scrolls Editions series. Samuel I. Thomas, Ph.D. (2007), is Professor of Religion at California Lutheran University. He is the author of The `Mysteries' of Qumran: Mystery, Secrecy, and Esotericism in the Dead Sea Scrolls (SBL/Brill, 2009), and a lead editor of A Teacher for All Generations: Essays in Honor of James C. VanderKam (Brill, 2012).
