Description

The top secret "International Security Operations" (ISO), established to infiltrate and dismantle major criminal and Terrorist networks, has been compromised and a number of its operatives killed as they commenced their respective operations. With no leads, all ISO operations are shut down, but not before the close friend and colleague of Millicent Watersford, and Alec Cooper, is captured by Al Qaeda in Lebanon. Unable to use their own people, Millicent reaches out to her uncle, a MI6 operative, and two of his close friends, one a retired Mossad agent, and the other a retired CIA operator, for help. Together they begin a deadly game, where the hunter becomes the hunted and nothing is as it seems.

Author Biography:

Lawrence Ricketts spent thirty years in the RCMP. For twenty-nine of those years he was an undercover operator attached to Drug and Major Crime Sections across Canada. Whether it was homicide suspects, drug dealers, criminal organizations or terrorist extremist groups, his job was to infiltrate, befriend, gather evidence and give testimony in court. Upon retiring, he worked for an international investigative firm in an undercover capacity. He also trained operators in surveillance techniques, evidence gathering, and court presentation. Following the publication of The Third Law in 2018, this is his second book. He lives with his wife between their homes in the Okanagan and Southern California.
