The Darkest Lie is book 8 in the Lords of the underworld series, and tells us about Gideon, the keeper of the Demon of lies. He dicovers that he has a wife (Scarlet keeper of the demon of nightmares) his memory though has been wiped clean by the God Zues ,or is it Cronus.?..both evil and hungry for power. Gideon wants his memory back and to avenge Scarlet for the pain and heartache that she has been put through and Scarlet wants Gideon to love her like he once did. Together and along with the rest of the Lords they take you on a wonderful journey of power, revenge, and adventure…with love and lust and even a bit of humour:-) and yes of course Lies, as Gideon cannot speak one word of truth, otherwise he will be doubled up in pain so bad that he nearly dies…that is his punishment you see for helping kill Pandora keeper of the box that contained all of the demons that the Lords of the underworld all carry inside them. Sounds awsome dosnt it.?

Yet again Gena Showalter brings us another Lord book that we can't put down till we finish that very last page.

We really get to know Gideon the keeper of lies in this book and his true love scarlet who is also keeping her own demon, their story keeps you riveted to the pages and wanting more :)
