On one hand, the eye and the imagination lose themselves in soft woods where Orlando might hang his verses, and heavenly Rosa lind flout her lover. On the other, knee-deep in rustling heather and prickly billows of the gorse, the spectator looks over dark undulations of pines, standing up in countless regiments, each line and rank marked against the sky, and an Ossianic breeze making wild music through them.
