Jeanne Willis has had successful careers both in advertising and as an author writing over eighty picture books, poetry books, television scripts and novels for children. Her teenage novel Naked Without a Hat was shortlisted for the Whitbread Children's Book Award and Dumb Creatures was longlisted for the Carnegie Medal.
