Peach addresses the diversity of Irish fiction and the complexity of Northern Ireland and Ireland's history and culture, and considers different modes of writing and themes such as postmodernity, gender, family, fetishism, Catholicism, historical trauma and intercorporeality.

Author Biography:

LINDEN PEACH is Professor and Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Gloucestershire. He has published extensively on twentieth-century writing, and his recent books include studies on Toni Morrison, Angela Carter and Virginia Woolf (also published by Palgrave Macmillan).
