Author Biography

Ken Schultz is the former Fishing Editor for Field & Stream, the world's largest outdoor magazine. He has been associated with this publication continuously since 1973, writes two monthly departments for them and occasional feature articles, and recently began two columns for their 330,000-reader website, fieldandstream.com. From 1991 to 2000 he was an occasional outdoor columnist for the New York Times, and is also the author of 13 books. His widely acclaimed 1,916-page opus, Ken Schultz's Fishing Encyclopedia and Worldwide Angling Guide (Wiley), was first published in 1999 and it received reams of great reviews and several honors.
