“The Club” is a fun game on PS3 and X360 – it as a nice blend of smooth action and “killer” atmosphere that results in an addictive, if somewhat short, shooting experience. However, on my computer (far above the recommended requirements and completely spyware-free), the game failed to produce any sound whatsoever out of the box (I later fixed this). It also crashed constantly, forcing me to reboot my computer (and no amount of driver updates could fix this particular problem). It is very clear that the PC version of “The Club” is an unfinished, rushed port: the controls displayed during the tutorial and menus (and even in-game) are those of the X360 version; either that or there's a bright green (A) button hidden somewhere on my keyboard. Thus, I simply cannot recommend purchasing this game on PC – that said, it's at least worth a rental on consoles. I tried to enter “The Club”, but the bouncer kicked me out.

This is a good old classic game of shoot anything that moves except yourself. From a nice range of characters, to a bloody good range of guns and weapons this is a worthy play. Big time recommended buy but i will say this to all of you with a hot temper, make sure someone is there to hold you back so you don't put your fist through your monitor, because this game will get your blood boiling. With its awesome graphics it is a very VERY challenging game. I mean i suppose you can go through the whole game getting the lowest rank to pass but if your a fighter for top placing then this game will give you hell. Recommended buy 4/5

The single player “campaign” wasn't what I was expecting, and falls a little short on what I would call enjoyable.

However, for LAN play this is a brilliant game. We play this at every LAN, and once you have 4 or 5 people in (yes, it's very well suited to smaller LANs) the mayhem starts.

The maps are suited for 4 people or more, there are a number of game modes and there's some real good value to be had with this title. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys 3rd person shooters and a few laughs at LANs.
