Description

Did you ever wonder about the manger that Jesus was laid in when he was born? People are traveling to Bethlehem to be counted in the census decreed by Caesar Augustus and everyone is busy getting ready for friends and relatives - all except Levi. Having been born with a disease that affects his breathing and being the youngest son, he can't help his father who is a well known carpenter. While visiting the stable near his grandmother's house, he finds a baby lamb and sets out to build a manger for his new friend. As travelers filled the city, Levi helps a late arriving couple find shelter in the stable and the young woman gives birth to a baby and lays him in the manger Levi had built. The baby is named Jesus. Levi learns that God has a plan for everyone's life and those who think they are the least can have a very important job.
