Description

This guide contains 20 leisure rides designed around the city paths, parkland and riversides of Bristol and Bath, as well as tours in the local Cotswoldian surrounds. Easy rides are listed for children and beginners, plus excellent offroad rides for mountain bikers. There are also listings of cafes and pubs en route, and all the ride instructions are accompanied with detailed mapping. Ride the Clifton Gorge end-to-end; mounain bike on the Mendips; bag the famous Bristol-Bath railway path and the Bath-Bradford towpath; explore the river Avon; admire the Severn Bridges and estuary fenland; take tea on tour via Dyrham Park; taste the Cotswolds near Yate; and come to Castle Combe, England's prettiest village.
