"A great debut album "
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

The brave don't run is a pretty easy going kickback rock album by midnight youth. Which after a few loops through gets pretty addicting with its hit singles the letter and all on your own. And with having catchy tunes from songs like dead flowers, Calvary and Benjamin it wont be long before you'll be finding yourself listening to this album all day long.

One of THE most anticipated NZ albums this year!!!

THE BRAVE DON’T RUN was recorded in studios in New York (whose previous inhabitants include music luminaries Ryan Adams and Sufjan Stevens) and Auckland (the D4). The album was produced by Brooklyn’s Terence Dover and Auckland’s Andrew Buckton.

With songs drawing from their extremely diverse musical influences, the album kicks off with the bold track ‘Cavalry’, written in New York and motivated by the city and the experience of touring as a young band.

First single ‘The Letter’ was the #1 most played New Zealand song on radio and the music video simultaneously hit #1 on two major music television networks. The track has held a Top 10 position for more than 16 weeks in the Radioscope Top 100.
