Description

This budget-priced, four-disc Miles Davis box set compiles various tracks the legendary jazz trumpeter recorded for Columbia from the ‘50s through the '80s. Here, we get such cuts as “Bye Bye Blackbird,” “So What,” “Milestones,” “Someday My Prince Will Come,” “Stella by Starlight,” “Footprints,” “Filles de Kilimanjaro,” “Time After Time,” and more. While there are other, more definitive and time period-specific collections, this anthology certainly offers a fair overview of the bulk of Davis’ career.
