This is one of those special books that you don't see very often. It is written in such a unique way that it carries you through this wonderful story with a big helping of history and a dash of dark humor, as well as a gem of a perspective that often isn't told. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone. *Spoiler: Not many WW2 stories have happy endings, but this one tells it with a lot of reality.

Author Biography:

Markus Zusak is the international bestselling author of six novels, including The Book Thief and most recently, Bridge of Clay.
