When Marie visits her artist friend Ana Alvarez, who lives in Greenwich Village, they go for a run in Central Park. While Ana is examining cast iron flowers on the Gotham Bridge, Marie spots the victim lying in the bushes below. This leads to investigations by New York's Joint Anti-terrorism task force, the FBI, the NSA and the NNSA. In a surprise ending Marie finds out who committed the extra-judicial murder.
