Author Biography:

Geoffrey Parrinder (1910–2005) was Professor in the Comparative Study of Religions at the University of London. He was a prolific writer and his work on Indian religions, Islam and comparative themes helped promote better understanding and closer collaboration between members of different faiths and cultures.
