The outbreak of Beatlemania in Australia and New Zealand in June of 1964 was, arguably, without equal anywhere in the world in terms of the sheer magnitude and scale of the social upheaval that took place. In spite of its importance in many ways the tour was the chapter of the Beatles' history that the world overlooked.

This DVD presents, for the first time, airport interviews and footage taken in the streets of the cities visited. In addition is an in-depth interview with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Jimmy Nichol who was deputising for the indisposed Ringo Starr.
