Description

The Battle of Elm and 11th is a poetic masterpiece of Tanner Frankfort; a rhyming children's tale describing a child-based fantasy in an elegant manner. Poet narrates wakening of friendly neighbors who find the snowmen they made the previous day have apparently seem to be destroyed. The Murphy and Conroy families were surprised to see what happened with the snowmen crafted by them during the night. One theory was presented regarding the possibility of involvement of the Smith boy in ruining the snowmen. But it was discarded shortly, as it could not be a one-folk show. Another idea was evolved that likely a group of people who know how to deal with snow might have done all this. But Mr. Murphy came up with a thought that the snowmen might have come to life and battled to their end in the street during the night. In his own charming way, he then endeavored to explain things to their children in order to teach them how to deal with difficulties and problems in real life.
