Ruttan, who has taken an accurate report of all the proceedings, and I now publish them, at the urgent request of many members of the medical and legal professions, who have called upon me personally in relation to the matter, and also at the written request of two of America's ablest surgeons, - Drs. Gross and Crosby, - whose letters are hereunto annexed.
