Description

Since the mid-1970s systems have become more complex and interdependent. Much work has been done, particularly in programs that have been associated with defence, to improve test and evaluation so it can provide assurance that the system being developed will meet the requirements. This work describes some of the principles and practices that have evolved in test and evaluation. It includes: a description of T&E, the reason for the emphasis on it today; planning a T&E program, organizing for T&E, executing the program, and using the information from the T&E program.
