"Gripping enough Sci-Fi Series"

Review by Noel on 26th January, 2010

Although lacking the feel that only the first two movies have accomplished in the franchise, Season 2 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles is still very good. As far as I know they've cancelled it, which is a great shame because they had something good going. I guess it's a result of the current TV/Film climate, where not enough people watched it so they pulled the plug.

Thomas Dekker and Lena Heady are both excellent as John and Sarah Connor. Summer Glau does a good job too as their Terminator protector.

One of my fav shows- Sad only lasted two seasons but well worth it!

Though short-lived with only two seasons, still great to see more in-depth the emotions and thoughts of Sarah Connor and John Connor in these two great seasons.

Definitely worth the watch and to own, only let down is that the final episode of season two was left for the imagination to wonder, since the series was cut by the broadcasting company in the US.

Who knows someone might get the idea to bring to life a mini-series that would at least bring to fruition the two seasons, which would at least link the movie franchise too, as the great Governator said… “I'll be back!”

Been a Terminator fan for years. This is a very good twist between T2 & T3 with Summer Glau doing an amazing job (enuf for the terminator movies/series to become an obsession of mine haha.) If you are a true fan you WILL love this.

Description

The time: today. The stakes: all our tomorrows. A nascent AI, assisted by droids, continues to edge toward world domination and the ruin of humankind. It accepts no limits. It fears no one. Except John Connor. The machines know John, now 16, is the future head of the resistance. They know he is growing in abilities. They must find and terminate him. But Sarah Connor is there, protecting and instructing her son as he becomes the man he's destined to be.

The hunt is on in a season of powerful revelations, breathless pursuits and bravura effects. A mysterious 3-dot symbol (Do UFOs provide a clue-), a girlfriend for John (Is Cameron jealous-), ZeiraCorp (Can it master the renegade software called The Turk-) - Season 2's six-disc action arsenal is locked, loaded, and ready to amaze.
